Barack Obama Wants To End The Filibuster To Pass Voting Rights Bill

Barack Obama crawled out from under his rock and has his eye on ending the Filibuster by packing the Supreme Court to pass Democrat’s Sham Voting Rights Bill. This sham of legislature is far from a voting rights bill. For the People Act of 2021 expands voter registration (e.g., automatic and same-day registration) and voting access (e.g., vote-by-mail and early voting). It also limits removing voters (dead people) from voter rolls. They need this bill to stay in power in 2022-2024 Elections! 😥

UPI reports: In his first opinion piece since he left office five years ago, former President Barack Obama Thursday strongly encouraged Democratic lawmakers in the Senate to make changes to the filibuster rule so that the upper chamber can pass stalled voting rights legislation. The legislation, the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the Freedom to Vote Act, passed the House last summer but has failed to pass in the Senate, where Democrats have a slim one-vote majority.

The Heritage Foundation reports: Democrats in Congress, under the Biden administration, have renewed their efforts to make sweeping changes to America’s electoral laws. H.R. 1 federalizes and micromanages the election process administered by the states, imposing unnecessary, unwise, and unconstitutional mandates on the states and reversing the decentralization of the American election process, which is necessary for protecting our liberty and freedom. The bill interferes with the ability of states and their citizens to determine qualifications for voters, to ensure the accuracy of voter registration rolls, to secure the integrity of elections, to participate in the political process, and to determine the district boundary lines for electing their representatives.

So as inflation seems to go up every day, and groceries store shelves are absent of many items we buy on a regular basis. A group of College Students (who really don’t have a clue) is threatening to go on a hunger strike unless H.R.1 the voting rights bill is passed. In my opinion, these kids are too young and lack the experience of adults who study politics regularly and get their Facts from alternate sources.

Fox News reports: A group of Arizona college students threatened to go on a second hunger strike if Congress doesn’t pass the Democrat-led voting legislation by Jan. 17. “We’re prepared to hold out indefinitely now that the holidays are over,” Leila Winbury, a junior at Arizona State University, told Fox News Digital. “I have seen the consequences of a broken democracy my entire life, so we’re willing to suffer the consequences of hunger-striking rather than the consequences of the bill not passing.”

Hopefully, democrats that are refusing to vote this bill into law don’t cave to pressure from their peers. Personally, I’m thinking that if this voting rights bill is passed, filibuster ended, considering the huge failure the Biden Admin is, American’s will be voting RED in droves come November.
